Uluru Australer 

 is a massive sandstone monolith in the heart of the nothinern treartory.
The closey town is 450km away.
Uluru is sacred to indigenous Australians and is thought to have started forming around 550 million years ago.
It has 35 red rock domes of the Kata Tjuta.  
Uluru Australer is the world's largest monolith.
Located in the southern part of the Northern Territory, central Australia. Ayers Rock lies 335 km south west of the nearest large town, Alice Springs; or 450 km by road.

The name Ayers Rock was chosen by Giles who named it after the South Australian Premier at the time, Sir Henry Ayers. However, Uluru is the traditional and cultural land of the Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjra people.

In Aṉangu culture, Uluru marks the site of significant events from The Dreaming – when creator beings formed the landscape – and is also the home of their ancestors. Uluru now has wider significance as a symbol for Aboriginal people across Australia.

This is one of meny sacred plases some of them are the ,River of Jordan, Sea of Gailee, The Dead Sea of Isiae, and meny more.   
Uluru is sacred to the Pitjantjatjara Anangu, the Aboriginal people of the area. The area around the formation is home to an abundance of springs, waterholes, rock caves and ancient paintings. Uluru is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
